The fifth meeting of the Kuala Lumpur FP&A Board will take place on Thursday, 4th July 2019 to debate the popular subject of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team Building

Modern FP&A professionals are expected to meet many requirements and to have a broad skill set hardly found in one human being. No wonder, FP&A positions are among the hardest-to-fill. One of the solutions is FP&A team building, where skills and talents of the team members simply complement each other. 

The International FP&A Board was created in London (UK) in 2013 to guide the development and promotion of best practices in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Since then, the Board chapters were successfully established in 23 cities and 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. Their aim is to identify and support new global trends, valued skill sets and leadership practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. 

The FP&A Board is exclusive to senior finance practitioners in active employment (at CFO, FD and Head of Finance levels). Please note that places for the Kuala Lumpur chapter are limited. We are inviting only 25 participants to join the event.

Sri Kanthan Jothi Ramalingam is the Finance Director of Weir Mineral Malaysia, a British multinational organization manufacturing and solutions provider in the minerals, oil & gas and energy sectors globally. A member of MIA, a fellow member of the ACCA, has an MBA from the University of New England and an Accounting bachelor’s degree from the University of Strathclyde, UK. Started his career as an Accountant in a construction firm in Kuala Lumpur prior to spending 15 years of his 22 years career in Alstom/GE in several finance leadership positions in Kuala Lumpur, the Asia Pacific Region and the Middle East.

With over 19 years in accounting and finance covering property development, trading, manufacturing, plantations, airlines, oil & gas, education, hospitality and facility service. I spent the first part of my career with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In this current career phase, I design, establish, transform and manage accounting and finance functions to suit the organizational needs for Laureate Education and Atalian Global Services.
